Probably every visitor to Rome visits the Colossuem, a huge amphitheatre that once saw the battles of the gladiators in front of crowds of 55,000. If you visit the Museo delle Mura (Museum of the walls) then you will be able to walk along the walls to Via Cristoforo Colombo. After your meal then do as the Romans do and indulge in a glass of Grappa.

Prague Otels

The 14th century Charles Bridge is probably one of Prague’s most walked over attractions and also most photographed. Wenceslas Square is a point from where everywhere in the city is easy to get to. By night it attracts the night owls seeking out the bars, restaurants and nightlife.

Paris Otels

As most of the sights in Paris are within walking distance it’s easy to get around. A must is a visit to Montmarte, a very picturesque area of the city and lined with street artists. Below the city you can find the Catacombs, a dark eerie place and not for the faint hearted. After a visit to the must see Pompidou centre then take some time to sit outside and experience the building outside as well as do some people watching!

Madrid Otels

Madrid, capital of Spain and a great experience for a city break. Why not Watch Real Madrid score a few goals at their home ground, the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. The old Atocha Station (Estación de Atocha) is worth visiting because as well as shops and cafes it is home to a tropical garden! Evenings can be spent in the Malsasana area where there are plenty of bars and restaurants.

London Otels

London, probably the worlds most visited city and quite rightly so. There is simply so much so see and do. My all time favorites have to be the Tate Britain and Tate Modern galleries, for ease of travel there is a boat that travels regularly between the 2 galleries. From the Tate gallery you can walk to the HMS Belfast, she served during the 2nd World war and is a great floating museum.

Istanbul Otels

Istanbul, Turkey’s most populated city. Most of the historic sights are in Sultanahmet and within walking distance of each other. For a welcome break away from the noise of the city then take a ferry and head for the Princes Islands. Get off at the last stop Büyük adasi (Big Island) and take a horse drawn carriage ride. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the Islands. Shoppers should head for Niþantasi Taksim or one of shopping centres that are opening everywhere such as Çevahir. Night birds head for Taksim where there are numerous bars and clubs catering for every taste.
